An incredible pair of copper cased wall clocks made by the Self Winding Clock Company. c.1920

Believed to have originated from Platform 2 at South Woodford tube station, London. A faint paper label to verso stating this, plus other nearby stations still have similar clocks installed. Bright and clean 24" dials, original ornate hands and stripped copper surround. Westerstand slave mechanism now powered by a modern battery operated impulse driver.

A large series of SWCC clocks were installed across the London Underground from 1905, some of which are still in use today.
