The piece retains its original articulated arm, stamped O.C. WHITE CO., WORCESTER, MASS., with the reverse side carrying the 1893 patent date. Later, period‑appropriate additions allow the lamp to swing both laterally and vertically, giving it an impressive range of movement and making it highly adaptable on the workbench.
