A stunning illuminated 'Internalite' directional sign made in England by K.F.M Engineering. c.1920.
Brass frame, darkened by age, housing the internal illuminations above polished plate glass etched with 'Ladies'. Frame stamped with makers mark.
Rewired with black twisted flex. Plug can be added if required.
About the maker
Designed and made by K.F.M Engineering Company Ltd London, the range of 'Internalite' products were prominently used for advertising and directional signage. They featured heavy duty brass frames which concealed the wiring and bulbs used to illuminate the polished and etched plate glass sign.
